Grey Out!

So far it isn't rained but it looks like it could at any time. That might make for some very soggy trick or treating. Damn I wish they had the Hexathon on today instead of on Sunday. Oops I forgot to add Buffy VS Dracula which I watched last night. It's a funny episode. How could I resist especially after my good fortune. I had a five dollar certificate from Borders and then out of nowhere I get emailed a 30% off coupon so I was able to save $17 and added another DVD to my pitiful DVD collection.

I'm still having some weirdness with the computer so I'm trying to be nice to Sally in the hopes that she'll be nice in return. The fingers are crossed that this works or I'm going to have to find a class to teach me how to be a computer whisperer. Oh where is Willow when I need her? I wonder if part of the weird factor could be Zango which I once again installed in the hopes that it works but I'm not sure if it's worth it because I don't like extra windows popping up even though it appears to be offering something that has to do with what I typed in. Hmm you get an extra cookie if you made sense of that last sentence.

I'm going to get me some pie because I feel like pie. It's strange but I tend to only eat pie at this time of year. Well that would just be another addition to the list of weird things like me walking while reading. I wonder if the pumpkin would taste the same out of the can. It probably wouldn't even though I usually don't eat the crust. Well it knocks off 100 calories if you don't eat the crust and I'm not sure if that's just the edge crust or the bottom crust. If someone knows let me know because maybe you knock off more if you just scrape the pumpkin off the bottom crust. I've done that before but I'm guessing that eating it from the can just wouldn't be the same. I bet it wouldn't taste as good as it does in a pie setting.

Helpful Tips To Get Paid To Blog

You can sign up with PayPerPost even with a blog that isn't ninety days old but you have to wait until it is and you really need to be someone that writes in your blog on a regular basis if not every day. While waiting for the ninety days you can put in badges to refer people over. You can also earn money this way. By clicking on the badge and signing up will give you money in the pocket when the person does a post about the blog that you signed up from. Did that make sense? Sorry I have a slight headache right now but I think I'm coherent.

2. One thing you should do right away is get a disclosure policy for your blog. You put it in a post and then put a permanent link to it on the sidebar. Of course if you happen to be handy with computers you can have a page for it like they have at WordPress. Just make sure that it is there so people know that you are getting paid for some of the content on your blog.

3. To avoid getting a rejected post make sure to put the anchor link in the actual post instead of leaving it above the text. There are times when they ask for more than one link so I just include all of them within the text.

4. Unless it says otherwise just cover yourself by writing This post Is Sponsored by PayPerPost. To keep all the posts from PPP I added a label for them along with the posts I do for Smorty.

5. If you do get a post rejected which I have it can be fixed. Don't do what I did with this one post. It got rejected and I was asked to make a minor change but I ended up erasing the post and making a new post. Don't do that because that will just end in you not getting paid for it and needing to erase it because the time and date don't match with the date and time you submitted it. For me anytime a post was rejected it was something small that I was able to fix so aside from that one time all of my posts have been accepted and I haven't had one rejected since I figured everything out.

6. You are allowed to do three posts a day but make sure you have regular posts in between paid posts otherwise it will get rejected.

7. If you have a free WordPress blog you can't do paid posts there. You need a domanin name and an installation. (If anyone reads this and knows what this installation thing is please let me know because I'm thinking of making the move over there and getting my own domain name.)

I've written the most posts for this place and I'm just starting because I didn't really get going until September because my post didn't qualify until the end of August. You can write for more than one place and after you've written ten you can add another blog so you can end up making pretty good money along with signing up at other places but you really need to be a person that enjoys writing because you're going to be doing a lot of it. An important thing is to get exposure for your blog so you'll need to go to directories etc to add your blog and offer a link exchange with other blogs to raise your page ranking. If you blog has a ranking of at least 0 you'll be able to do posts. I personally think that sounds weird but I somehow managed to make it up to 3 and now it says 4 but you have to devote chunks of time to add your link and in many cases they want you to add a link or a badge of some sort which is fine but it's tricky if you have a blog here unless you happen to be a computer whisperer which I'm not.

You can also sign up for Smorty and while it starts at slow I've found myself getting more posts from there as my blog has been moving up in the world. At first it was about one post every other week but in the past few weeks I've had four campaigns offered. To start with most of your posts will be six bucks but if you happen to have a good page rank you might get more. I'm not sure about that because I started with a ranking of 0 but if you have been blogging for a while and decide to give this a whirl you might get more offers. So far I've made almost two hundred dollars and I'm just getting started since I plan to add another blog possibly this one if I can raise the ranking so the fingers are crossed on that front.

Babbling Once Again

So it looks all gloomy out which is the right setting for Halloween. It just wouldn't seem right if it was all bright and sunny out. It might even rain and as long as I don't get wet that's fine with me. The weather here is so bizarre because it keeps going up and down like a yo yo. I still need to find the button that controls the weather to set it to a temperature I like and eliminate the freezing unnatural weather that brings with it that stupid snow. I hate snow and don't understand people that do. I guess I could say the same about coffee because I don't even like the smell of it let alone get the slightest urge to drink it. It just looks like mud to me.

Too Many Emails

It is pretty easy to end up with a lot of emails at least for me and the crazy thing is that I don't even go to most of them. It is just so very tempting to just erase everything and just start from scratch but that can lead to erasing an email that I don't want to erase. So the emails just keep piling up and piling up which is a pain in the butt. I don't need an email to grow a penis that I don't have because last time I checked I'm a girl so why would I need to enlarge a penis that I don't have. I suppose it could be helpful if I had a detachable one like in that very weird song.

Pumpkin

glitter-graphics.com I love pumpkin pie but other things that are pumpkin are just odd to me. Pumpkin ice cream is just a really bizarre idea. Do people put that on top of their pumpkin pie? It just seems wrong and the wrong texture. Cookies seem odd but I might be willing to try them especially if they have chocolate chip because that might be an interesting combo. Pumpkin bread is weird too.

Musings About Moonlight

So I decided to do the website and now I'm working on the stuff that I'm including in it. I did find a place that allows me to do a quiz where I type in the question and the answer but it doesn't let me do it in groups. I have to do an individual question and answer but at least there's a box the person can type the answer in to find out if they got it right.

Whatever Comes Out!

glitter-graphics.comSo last night was Monday which shows that I know my days of the week and tomorrow would be Wednesday AKA at least this year Halloween. I still think they should have put the Hexathon on Wednesday instead of Sunday. I was confused by the time which always happens when you live in the bizarro time zone of Mountain and don't feel like doing math to figure out time it really starts when the menu won't give it up because of the need to unplug it because of the picture going all screwy. Was that even a sentence? It turned out to be ten or nine in the morning I think

I also got a dose of confusion when I was watching Supernatural to work on my website or what I call a website which not be up to other peoples standards since me and HTML don't get along. Sure I can grab the code and use it for a picture in blog entries or do quiz results but that would be the extent of that knowledge. I was confused because the DVD recorder right below the VCR was saying the time was actually an hour earlier. It turns out that the time change got changed again so the machine did it early because it didn't know any better which led to me having to make the rounds of the VCRs to change the times because someone decided to push it back or something.

It's the meeting of the blue people out on the sidewalk. Well there are two outside and they are both wearing blue. I guess I didn't get the memo about wearing blue today since I'm wearing black with a smidge of white. Oh the weirdness that is me because I'm wearing two of my bat pendants along with a daisy pendant. How many girls do you know that do that? Yes I'm special all right.

So last night thanks to the stupid baseball or whatever it is my shows weren't on but The Hills wasn't affected so I watched that and tried to do a little catching up on my Moonlight site and I'm thinking about doing a blog for Beth. It's just a thought and nothing's definite yet because I would have to watch and write it up and figure out how I'm going to do the dates. I'm thinking I'll just go with the date that the episode aired on since nothing else comes to mind and you can't really do a blog without the actual dates unless I do it like the other diaries that I've done in the past. I could just have a page on the site and write them. This is just an idea that I'm considering so I'm not sure if I'll even do it or not.

Woohoo stupid Spencer finally called Brody. That whole thing was totally lame. He shouldn't have broken up with Brody just because Brody won't throw Lauren to the side because Lord Spencer declares it so. Face it some people you like and some you don't and while in a perfect world the best friend would hate all the same people you do it just isn't going to happen. Spencer was acting like Lauren was having a weekly meeting of the We Hate Spencer club or something. Talk about ego why in the world would Lauren even waste her breathe on that loser. If they do make up the friendship will never be the same and Spencer has no one but himself to blame for that. Oh for a slap button because I would use it often on Spiedi.

Just A Little Ranting!

I just can't seem to miss having some idiot encounter. Is the sidewalk not called a sidewalk here? If I'm not forced out into the street because some idiot decided to put a bunch of garbage right in the middle of it I have some moron on a bike. Go ahead and ride your bike if you want but please get the hell off the sidewalk especially the sidewalks around here because many of them barely qualify. So I refuse to let some idiot go by me without speaking up and saying something. Go ahead and tell them to get the hell off the sidewalk in whatever manner you see fit. Pedestrians seem to be invisible to those who are in cars and on bikes.

I think the ones on bikes try to get back at pedestrians for the shitty treatment they get at the hands of cars so it's like a vicious cycle and the ones walking get screwed on both accounts. I'm not going to just stand there on the sidewalk while a long line of cars turn. I don't mind letting one or maybe two by but then I'm walking across. Just because I'm using my feet doesn't mean that I'm not trying to get somewhere and it's not like it will be the end of the world if you wait the few lousy seconds for the person to cross.

Get Into The Halloweeny Spirit!

So Halloween is almost here and I thought just to get into the spirit I'd share shows that can help in getting you into the spirit of the holiday.

First off you can go to your DVD collection and grab the Xena DVDs for season two and six.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun: This is when Gabby gets turned into a Bacchai which is just a fancy word for vampire. This is also the very first God that Xena kills since she doesn't do it again until season five. This is one of my favorite episodes and don't even think about asking me about my favorite Xena episode because it would be plural. Hell it's impossible to say one for each season let along all six seasons.

The Haunting Of Amphipolis: The girls head to Xena's home village after having a twenty-five year nap to visit dear old Mom who sadly was burned as a witch but was really driven mad by the King of Hell. Xena once again gets out the ass kicking boots and takes out the King Of Hell.

Heart Of Darkness: There is a portal to Hell in the backyard and the hot Lucifer shows up and ends up winning the Seven Deadly Sins Lottery in just one day on Earth and he ends up losing his wings and his looks as he becomes the new King Of Hell because Xena just isn't up for the job.

Now head over to the Buffy section of your collection and grab seasons one and four and six.

Halloween: This is the episode where we learned that it's a good idea to dress up as Xena for Halloween instead of an 18th century girl on the off chance that we turn into our costumes. Sure the dress may be fantabulous but the girl's pretty useless because cars seem like demons after all remember how Liam reacted when he encountered cars. It scared the poor boy and it scared Buffy too who didn't remember that she's the Slayer.

Fear, Itself: It just isn't Halloween without a party and this is a party of the freaky kind. Come on you know the fear demon was really cute even though you wouldn't like it to be playing on your fears and making you invisible to people or other crazy things.

All The Way: How cute Dawn sneaks out and gets her first kiss and it turns out to be a vampire. Sounds like she's following in her sister's footsteps about getting involved with vampires and this would be her first staking using a handy dandy pencil. Also Xander is dressed as a pirate as a preview of sorts when he ends up getting his eye gouged out in a year by the crazy yet hot priest Caleb.

Now head over to the Angel section of your DVD collection and grab season five.

Life Of The Party: This is the gang's first and only Halloween party at Wolfram & Hart. If you are really observant you just might see what appears to be Jack Hodgins at the party. I guess he hopped on a plane or jet since he's rich and likely has one at his disposal for a little Halloweeny fun.

Shindig: Sure this isn't related in any way to Halloween but come on it's a great episode and who doesn't want to see Captain Tight Pants in his tight pants.

Death Note

glitter-graphics.com So I watched the second episode and I'm still enjoying the show. This is a show that as a kind of Halloweeny type vibe so if you want to get into the spirit of the holiday this would be a great show to watch. Since I'm watching it on Adult Swim I'm not sure if this is out on DVD. I do recall that when Trinity Blood started airing at least one volume was out at the store so maybe it is but I really don't know. If I get seriously hooked on this I might have to shell out the cash to get it on DVD after all what kind of Otaku would I be if I didn't start building up my anime collection. I have some but not nearly enough to be worthy of the title Otaku hence the addition of in training to Otaku to describe my status.

What To Do

So I am considering entering this contest in the hopes of winning book deal but there's a slight problem. One of the things they ask a person to send in are three chapters and while the manuscript is done I didn't write this book in chapters. It is n a diary format or I guess blog could be more accurate so it is made up of individual entries that have names. So how in the world do I turn them into chapters? I'll have to think about it before making a final decision on whether I should even enter this contest or not.

I Finally Watched It!

glitter-graphics.com It took a week but I finally watched Death Note and now have the manga waiting for me at the library. I liked it but I was thinking that I would because come on what's not to like about a notebook that allows you to kill people. This is a pretty interesting thought and it makes a person wonder if they would use it and who they would use it on. It would be a way to get rid of the evil people but when would the lines get all blurry?

Light is a fellow read walker which is always nice. I happen to do that myself but I have yet to find a notebook that kills people. He is sitting in class one day totally bored which is understandable and something that I've been guilty of doing myself when he sees this notebook fall out of the air. Of course no one else seems to notice and he ends up picking it up but at first he thinks its just a joke but it seems pretty elaborate to be a joke.

So he ends up taking the notebook with him and even tries it out. The first victim is some guy that is holding a bunch of hostages and right while he's watching the news it's revealed that the guy just keels over and has a heart attack. There are rules to the killing in the book and in a way it kind of reminds me of Bleach so if you happen to like that anime you could end up really enjoying this one.

I don't think I'll be waiting for long to watch episode two. The delay wasn't because I didn't want to watch it's just that I've gotten behind on things and just never got around to it but I will make a point of watching the second one today because I really enjoyed it. I'm curious to see how the manga and anime measure up to each other.

So now I'm getting hooked on another anime which is always a good thing because I really enjoy them. I'm not too thrilled about the time but that's what those recording devices are for so I won't miss an episode. I am curious about how it differs from the original version because of course I'm watching this anime on Adult Swim so I have no clue what changes have been made to it but I'm enjoying it so far and am looking forward to reading the manga.

Writing Up A Storm!

glitter-graphics.com Well yesterday I think I more than made up for not being online for nearly two days. Too bad the computer doesn't keep track of the words a person types like those things do with steps because I would curious about how much I typed. I know a typed up quite a bit but I have no clue just how much and I'm not going to go around counting because that would be lame not to mention frustrating because it can be tricky to sit there in front of the computer touching the screen with your finger and counting the number of words. Sure that can be something I need to do at times but on a smaller scale not doing a word count for every single thing I wrote over the course of a day.

Breakfast

Breakfast is such an odd word to me because if you split it up you end up with break and fast. You break your fast and that just sounds weird. Who decided what was breakfast type food anyway? Come on aren't that just some of us that don't follow the rules of breakfast? You know you have eaten cold pizza for breakfast every so often. Maybe I'm influenced by Cliff from IHOP even though he hasn't been around for quite a while but in reverse because I'll sometimes have things that are supposed to be for lunch or dinner for breakfast and sometimes I'll have something that should be for breakfast for lunch or dinner. I guess it all depends on the mood.

Muffins

I like muffins right out of the oven. I will eat them and do enjoy those mini muffins but they just taste best out of the oven. The butter just melts into the muffin when they are fresh out of the oven which is something that doesn't happen when the muffin is cold. They just seem to lose something when they go from warm to cold not that they don't still taste good.

What Day Is It?

It can be a little confusing figuring out which day it is when there are three different names for Saturday. According to I think it's the Sci Fi channel this is the most dangerous night while on BBCAmerica it is Supernatural Saturday except for the hour when Graham Norton is on. That's just odd to me and I'm likely the only one that's thinking about this.

Fan Fiction

glitter-graphics.com What a nice surprise to find so much fan fiction for Moonlight already and after only five episodes. So I printed up one to check it out and if I enjoy it I will certainly go back. I'm working on a Moonlight website that comes with the blog imported straight from LiveJournal although I've been having some weirdness over there. Every time there's a post with words that apostrophes it goes all wonky so I have to go over there to fix the problem.

G.A.T.

Oh poor Mark has a We Hate Mark Club. Finally the answer is revealed about that ghost on Ghost Whisperer and I was thinking ABC and I was right about that. She was the girl that plays Olivia. So that mystery is solved now. It's not like I spent the past week scratching my head and trying to come up with an answer because I haven't and actually last night I slept pretty good which is such a rare thing.

I usually wake up a few times during the night but the first time I woke up was at 6:30 and I went back to sleep. Seriously! I hope for a repeat but I'm not holding my breath because I'll probably end up unable to sleep for hours and hours and maybe I just cursed myself by mentioning it. Oh well what's done is done and I'm used to not getting enough sleep not that I like it or anything. Who would like chronic insomnia anyway? I'm pretty sure this would be one of the few exceptions that everyone would agree on.

I'm just kind of weirded out about the George and Izzie thing because I'm with Meredith when she mentioned sibling love because the two just don't have that sparkage unless my TV isn't working right. It just seems very odd to me. Does this mean that he's moving back into Meredith's house? I just don't see these two staying together because they are buddies and close buddies but not in love type buddies. Ok did that make any sense at all? It just is kinda icky to me.

That blonde chick Hawne or however the hell the name is spelled because I don't feel like looking for the spelling and I'm likely close or you know who I'm talking about is always a bit of a bitch just like on Crossing Jordan. I'd rather she be on Crossing Jordan because that would mean the show is still on and maybe I wouldn't have banned it from my viewing. Well maybe I would have anyway because I'm still pissed about the Passions thing. I can't even watch it now and have to read it which totally sucks.

That was pretty nasty to imply that Christina was sleeping her way to the top. That's just the kind of guy she's attracted to. She isn't an incompetent surgeon and hell even her bedside manner is improving a little. At least she is able to bond with Callie over their boy troubles. Too bad Norman had to ruin it by having the stroke but if you're going to have one in the OR is a pretty good place to have one. So it looks like Norman is out of there and I kind of liked him.

So Ava did the chickening out this time so poor Alex with left all alone with her shirt. Who knows what will happen there. Maybe she wants him to go after her instead of just letting her go again. She should have stayed so they could at least talk about it but no off she scampered to become Rebbecca again. So he's all alone and I'm a little surprised that the nurses didn't form an We Hate Alex club after the whole syphilis thing.

That was funny how Meredith took her Mom's ashes and stuck them in a baggie and took them to work with her. So the weirdness runs in the family since Lexie dug up the cat to bury with her Mom. That is sweet in a bizarro type way. It was weird but I guess fitting for her to put the ashes down the drain after all that's where she would scrub up for surgeries so it works even though it's seriously odd.

Gee I wish I had a brother come out of the woodwork and try to kill me too. What is up with Gabriel and their Dad? They have something cooking and I'm not thinking cookies or anything good like that. It seems like he likes how he son deals with ghosts and wants to convert Melinda to their way of thinking.

That's creepy to know that there are places where a city is built on top of a city. It makes me wonder what exactly is under there and if there are bodies because you don't know because there just might be. It was nice to see Amy on something although she was just a ghost and well a member of the family being Melinda's great, great, great Grandmother. It was almost a little deja vu there with her in brown because of the first time I saw her which was on Angel in that brown sack thingie and the whole crazy bit. I wonder who the bloody eyes guy was. Was he the priest or someone or something else? I guess I'll just have to keep watching which I plan to do because this is a great show and what girl wouldn't want Jim for her husband? Sure he was evil on Roswell but not on here.

Smallish Super!

So it hit me yesterday that if I were to record Grey's Anatomy instead of watching it I'd be able to watch Without A Trace so last night I actually watched Supernatural instead of waiting on it. Why didn't I think of that sooner because it makes more sense although ultimately Supernatural gets recorded anyway since there's the whole website which I'm already behind on this season. So in typical me fashion I'm doing this backwards.

I think Sam is totally human after all when that asshole Jake murdererd him it's not like Sam was sent to Hell. Yellow Eyes just wanted to screw with Dean in the hopes that he'd doubt his brother. Sam was totally justified in shooting the guy that literally stabbed him in the back and murdererd him. Who wouldn't do the exact same thing? He has nothing to worry about on that front.

I'm thinking that Ruby just might be Lucifer after that comment she made about being the fallen angel on Sam's shoulder. It could be true. Bar Chick seemed to believe in Lucifer and she didn't act like the typical demon although these ones are a whole new breed. It was kind of sad when they were both killed because they seemed to really love each other. She killed Moron Hunter but it didn't look like she was going to kill Dean maybe out of some loyalty to Sam because she's hoping that he'll stand up and lead them or something perhaps.

Maybe he could use that to his advantage although leading demons doesn't sound like a very good guy kind of thing to do but she seemed like she would be totally loyal to Sam as a leader. They could use the demons to take out the other demons. There have to be demons that want to keep the world going instead of just destroying it because if they destroy it there would be no place for them to go since they all seem to hate Hell so much.

What is the deal with all these people with the same initials? I was wondering where Lionel was and was thinking that Kara might have had something to do with it but this time I actually knew that Lex didn't. Ok that can't be the real Lana because she's too smart and diabolical to be her.

It looks like someone was reading Misery because that was such a Misery moment. I was waiting for Crazy Cabin Lady to come out with an ax or something. She should have put bear traps on both hands instead of just the one. So Lana's turning into a true blue Luthor or whoever the hell she is. I just want to smack Clark not that it'd make a difference since it wouldn't hurt him because he has such blinders on when it comes to her even though he knows that she lied to him. He's just so thrilled that he has the girl that he's been in love with since he was like six so he's willing to overlook things.

Oh great Lex is continuing with his obsession with all things Kent. He really needs a new hobby. Maybe he can go back to his comic book collection. No on second thought that might lead to him getting ideas for his Super Villain status. He could take up knitting. Emerson is manly enough to pull it off and he can prepare for those upcoming cold winter nights that he'll have to spend alone because he no longer has a wife that Daddy had to threaten to get her to marry his son.

Feeling Mighty Parched!

It really sucked yesterday that I was computerless along with most of today but I'm back and ready to get my babble on. My throat is so very sore right now so I think I need a throat lozenge. I guess I don't actually talk all that much out loud because the throat is really sore about the whole thing with the guy on the phone and figuring out the computer sitch. I'm online which is good but I don't really know if the problem was actually solved but at least I can get on here which is of the good.

Something odd happened at the grocery store. I was getting donuts and this cart came up and there was plenty of room to pass but she just stayed there and scoped me out. I think the bitch stole the coupon I had that I ended up dropping. I thought I put it in the book but I didn't but I still had no list. I even traced my tracks and probably looked like a loon walking around eyeing the floor. I'm just glad they didn't call someone because they thought I was an escapee from the local loony bin wherever that happens to be.

I'm relieved the poor little squirrel didn't end up dead after the whole thing with Pig. I didn't want the squirrel to die. Yes I'm a total dork. That girl that lived in the windmill looked so familiar but I just can't place her. I hope I don't end up driving myself crazy trying to figure out where I'd seen here before. If anyone reading this knows please leave me a comment so the wondering will stop. I really like Pushing Daisies. It's such an odd show but that's what I find so appealing about it.

I just wish the whole computer sitch was fixed before the letter I typed. Yes I wrote letters with my little left hand before but I've gotten used to typing them and just going off into the babble zone so I ended up with a stiff and sore hand after writing about ten pages well if you count the front and back as a page apiece. I'm just glad that I didn't have more than one.

Another weirdness was the printing up of my soap. I was a few days behind on that so I wanted to print them up and the thing was printing up part of the page on one sheet and the rest of it on another sheet which was very strange but I seem to attract strange. I finally got it all printed up and all on the individual pages. I'm still behind but I'm getting there. I just want to be able to see it but I know I won't so I'll likely catch up this weekend. I was able to catch up on Days well sort of fairly quick but at least that I can still watch on SoapNet even though there are a lot of changes on there.

Chatter Time!

glitter-graphics.com I just couldn't resist when I saw this because I can't stand this guy. I just want to slap him every time I see him and want to wipe that smug look off his stupid face. I think he's having delusions of Brad Pitt. Doesn't looking at the picture just make you want to smack him but don't because the computer screen will be the one that ends up getting hurt.

I'm trying not to but it seems like there will be a rant about this moron. He tells Heidi to back stab Elodie and steal the job right out from under her and then gets pissy because Heidi actually has to work. I may not be an expert but I'm thinking a raise involves working more as well as having a bigger paycheck. He just doesn't seem to get that and why would he all of a sudden plan an anniversary dinner three weeks later. Couldn't they have done it the very next night? Maybe he was too busy sulking about it. Ok I'm done with this moron so I'm off to chat about whatever happens to pop into this little brain of mine.

On the bright side I was able to renew all the books due today unlike yesterday when the one book I wanted to start reading was on hold for someone else. So instead I'm reading another book by Marianne Mancusi. The book wasn't one that I would have read alone because there are times when I read a couple books at the same time. When I do read more than one book at a time it's usually because one is a hardback and I only read walk with paperbacks because hardbacks tend to get awkward not to mention big and heavy.

I'm just glad that there are no signs outside that it even snowed because I hate the snow and don't want to fall on my ass when I walk over to the library to pick up my hold and check the computer over there to see if the weirdness is still happening. I partly think it could be this computer because there is something up but I don't really know what. There was some message about Adobe but I don't really want to go around uninstalling stuff when I could very well take out something that I shouldn't. The stupid blue screen showed up again even after figured out the whole safe mode thing with no results. I'm just glad that the computer is working at all because if that were to happen things would really suck big time.

Oh Crap!

glitter-graphics.com I hate it when a book comes due and I can't renew it because someone has a hold on it especially when I'm about to read the book. I was finally going to crack the book about depression that even had a CD that comes with it which isn't a very typical thing and I couldn't renew it so I guess I'm not the only one around here feeling the crapppyness of the season. At least the snow is melting and maybe there won't be signs of it soon which would be nice because I don't like it at all.

So Susan really stuck her foot in her mouth big time. She should have stopped when she thought there was a wife instead of another guy because that kind of mistake is understandable if you just see someone new moving in and see a guy. But this is Susan and things tend to go wrong around her. She kind of reminds me of Theresa when Passions first started how she accidentally knocked paint over on Ethan and of course burning down the Burger Barn and of course the fish guts getting dumped on him too. She shouldn't have popped those cookie bars in the oven and BTW what are cookie bars? That's just such an odd name.

Well at least the viewers learned what not to do when you have a new neighbor that turns out to be a gay couple. You don't pretend to make cookies and bring them over because one of the guys might be allergic to peanuts. It would have been better if she just fessed up right away that she couldn't cook and brought over these cookies to apologize for sticking her foot in it when she thought the dog Raphael was another guy instead of their dog and all the other things she said. You also don't keep the dog hostage in the garage where there's paint or you could end up having to fork over two grand for a suit that your husband won't ever wear. I don't see Mike as a suit wearing type anyway since he just looks good in jeans and a t-shirt.

Crabs seems to be a recurring theme because people are getting it on Hollyoaks and this show is behind in the US so it's funny how these shows ended up airing around the same time with crabs. So don't share a towel and don't get in the tanning bed after the town slut although I thought that was Edie's position in Fairview or at least of Wisteria Lane. I wouldn't want to get in a tanning bed because it just looks like a coffin with bright lights. What is the appeal in doing that? So I'll just stick with my pale skin or perhaps I could call it alabaster skin because I don't feel like doing the tanning thing which probably isn't all that great for your skin anyway.

Stupid Weather!

glitter-graphics.com Someone doesn't realize that it is still Fall because it certainly doesn't look like it when I peek out the window. So it's going to be a Winterhellland outside. I just can't stand the stupid snow and don't get why people like it. I guess it's the same as coffee because so many people like it but I don't like it one little bit and think it stinks and have no desire to drink it.

It always sucks when a show comes on with an actor I like and have it turn out to be totally crappy. On Thursday Without A Trace wasn't on and Viva Laughlin was on instead so I recorded it anyway and was really disappointed to hate it because A Martinez is going to be on it according to the commercial anyway and Eric Winter if I'm thinking right that played Rex Brady on Days and was more recently seen on Brothers And Sisters as Kevin's boyfriend.

First off the guy kept singing Viva Las Vegas and he isn't even there because apparently Laughlin is 139 miles away from Vegas. He sang it twice which was annoying but I kept watching until some other guy started singing I want to say Sympathy For The Devil. I'm talking about the song that plays at the end of Interview With The Vampire. So when I saw another guy singing I just had to shut it off. So I have no desire to see more of this show whatsoever.

Sure I loved it when Buffy did a musical episode but this was a case of bursting out singing a song that I didn't really like and they weren't all that great at singing. It just strikes me as a really dumb idea so I'm giving this show the big thumbs down. I wonder if Eric will go back to Brothers And Sisters since he plays Kevin's boyfriend on there. It just stinks that a show that I actually like wasn't on which means no change of James and replaced with a stupid one. I wonder if it will be on Sundays and Without A Trace will be back on Thursday. I certainly hope so.

I watched Supernatural last night because Thursday is a busy night but thankfully On Demand helps out a lot so I don't have to worry about CSI. So I finally got around to it and the show was funny. Hmm maybe that would explain a few things because I had a rabbit's foot but it looked nothing like that one and it just disappeared. It can't be too lucky after all the poor bunny gets its foot chopped off and likely all of them which is just mean.

Poor Sam got the worst of the bad luck. I'm fallen and ripped up my pants but it just tends to be one knee not both like he did when he went face down on the concrete or cement or whatever the hell you want to call it. That hasn't happened to me in quite a while and oddly it would tend to happen when I wasn't reading a book and walking. That thief chick was a total bitch so I was glad when she got whammied with the rabbit's foot so she was forced to throw it into the flames. I'm thinking she'll be back.

Gordan is absolutely nuts and Jesus Boy is crazy too. At fist he seemed to have a shred of sanity when he was talking to Gordan but not so much when he took the cursed rabbit's foot as divine intervention. If Sam was really evil and not human does Jesus Boy really think he would be able to find him and get him duct taped to a chair just like that? So the guy not only has a screw loose he is also really stupid.

Sam should have stayed still instead of moving and causing the air conditioner to burst into flames. It was like those trick candles you can't blow out and then he sets himself on fire and the drapes attack him and he ends up getting captured by the Loon Boys. That guy was seriously creepy on something but I can't recall what and part of the reason could be that it might have been on the station that I no longer acknowledge as existing.

I would have done the same as Dean loading up on the lottery tickets but of course that bitch stole his money and when exactly did he cash them in? Hopefully Jesus Boy won't be able to get Gordan out. If anyone needs to die I would say Gordan for wanting to murder someone because of his insanity. Sam isn't evil and he's human. Sure he was given demon blood or whatever when he was a baby which could explain the powers but since he was brought back he doesn't have those powers which is a good thing I would imagine because visions are never fun. That seems to be a recurring theme that getting them is always painful.

Becoming Otaku!

Ok so I haven't actually seen Death Note yet but I will by tomorrow because it starts airing at one in the morning which is actually tomorrow and not today so I have it set to record. It sounds pretty interesting. There's a notebook that if you write a name in it the person dies or something like that. I also have the manga on hold at the library. I did have it on hold a while back but it was one of those times when the hold mysteriously disappears from my holds list but the local library now has Volume 1 and I'm doing the holds thing so hopefully I'll be able to start reading the manga soon.

I wonder when exactly a person becomes an Otaku. I'm still pretty new to the anime world and was actually watching anime before I realized it was anime. Does Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles count? I've seen it before but never really watched it so I was thinking about what was the actual first anime I saw and I would have to say it was Mew Mew Power which also got yanked off the air. For manga it was Oh My Goddess and I found that by accident because I was looking for a book and came up with that and it sounded interesting and voila I entered the world of anime and manga.

Since I'm bored right now I think I'll make a list of the animes that I've seen. I did watch a piece of Runner Kuromi and it looks good and I did enjoy Red Garden and hope that Anime Network will add more episodes since it was just the one. So this next part requires some thinking so here goes nothing. It isn't necessarily in order because that would require too much thinking. I did read Cowboy Bebop but haven't seen the anime yet so I should go to that website I found where you can watch anime.

Mew Mew Power: I also read the manga.

Magical DoReMi: One season and left wanting more.

Super Gals: Seen all fifty-two episodes or it fifty my brain isn't clear on that. I love Ran Kotubuki.

Blood+, Trinity Blood, Vampire Princess, Bleach, Mar, Naruto, Ghost In The Shell, Paranoia Agent, Jubei, Shin Chan, Shaman Princess, Marmalade Boy, Cosplay Complex, Panponi Dash, UFO Valkyries: So odd because I think of them with flying horses instead of spaceships, Bottle Fairies, Saint Tail: I loved the guy that played Asuka and watched it with the subtitles because he was just so very Asuka, Boogie Pop, Chobits, Snow Fairy Sugar, Ah My Goddess...and now my brain is shutting down so I'm done for now because I can't think anymore.

FAnime Friday

I only discovered the world of anime within the past few years after stumbling across a manga that happened to have the same name as a book I was looking for and started watching Magical DoReMi but since then I have become hooked and was saddened when Magical DoReMi didn't turn up for a second season. So if you happen to be a fan check out anime. This blog is done by a fan of anime and there are new posts every Friday about anime.

Since I'm still pretty new to this world there's a lot to discover so I went to new series to look out for to check out what was new because I'm always looking to find new animes since there are so many out there. So I've decided that I'll be checking out FAnime Friday to see what's new in the world of anime.

Recently when I was on LiveJournal I came acros a comment mentioning FAnime Friday Claymore so of course I checked the library to see if they had the manga and had no luck. I found this post that talks about the anime which is not big surprise because from what I've seen mangas tend to also be animes. Yes I'm new to this world but so far they tend to be mangas and animes but they aren't always the same because there can be differences. I will see about watching this because it sounds pretty interesting so go look at the post about this anime.

The world of anime has so many to choose from that it would be impossible not to find something that appeals. I have gotten hooked on Anime Selects and Anime Network which are currently available on On Demand that is available on Comcast. They don't have the networks but this has been a way for me to discover new animes at least new to me like Super Gals which is a great anime. Not all animes are long running since this one has fifty shows and Trinity Blood has twenty-six. There is some anime on Cartoon Network that airs later in the evening during Adult Swim and I found a couple websites that allow you to watch animes online which is great because the pickings are a bit slim. So I will be checking out this blog to see what's new in the world of anime.

I'd really like to find more animes since I've found some great ones like Bleach and would love to build up my DVD collection and become a full fledged Otaku since right now I would consider myself one in training. There aren't that many stores around here that sell anime and manga but there are a couple stores that do specially sell anime and manga which is great but I have no idea where they are. So the question that I'm faced with is where to shop to get the animes or mangas that I'd like. Fox stopped airing it but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't like to get the Japanese version of Magical DoReMi AKA Ojamajo Doremi as long as there was English subtitles.

Getting My Fang Fix!

So Friday has become the night of the vampires. If this was on Saturday it could be Fang weekend but both Blood Ties and Moonlight are on Fridays now. Since I'm a serious babbler I have a blog that is just about what I'm thinking about Moonlight so if you're curious go to http://moonlight254.vox.com or http://bitemuch.livejournal.com where you'll find the blog. I've still had no luck with the whole not being able to get through an episode of Ghost Whisperer without getting a bit misty eyed. Am I the only one? Why yes I'm a total dork but often it's so sad when the ghost is saying goodbye to loved ones.

That girl looked really familiar and I want to say she was the miniature killer from CSI but I can't be 100% sure because the hair is different and Colleen was of the sane while the other chick was so very not sane at all. I know I saw her on something but the brain's drawing a blank. That would really suck to have a ghost stalker or a regular stalker since that would be of the bad. I am curious about which ghost grabbed Stalker Boy. It was that door again so maybe someone that died in that cave in and it could have been the guy that blamed Melinda's mother for killing his wife. It was just a set of arms so who knows because it could have been the arm and hammer guy since no one knows who he looks like and is he really a he? Sure that would be a big arm but there are chicks out there that get all bulked up too.


glitter-graphics.comMaybe it should be Supernatural Friday instead of Saturday because it changes to Comedy Saturday for an hour well two hours since Graham Norton airs twice. Cool Courtney Love is on which I'm looking forward to. I really enjoy the show even when I have no idea who the guests are and I'm thinking that's a pretty rare thing because I don't do the talk show thing unless I see that someone I like is on.

Well things are pretty cozy between Vicki and Henry. I don't blame her one bit because who could resist his charms well other than Mike of course. Maybe that's why Corrine disappeared because she finally realized that she doesn't have a chance in hell with Henry. It could also have to do with the fact that she's on another show now and could have been filming it at the time. Who knows because I don't know.

I just don't get people who get out and hunt animals only to bring their heads back to stick them on the wall. That just is so bizarre. I figured it was a case of shape shifters but usually when the person dies they revert back to their human form but not this time. So that guy deserved to have his head ripped off and put on the table because he was doing the same thing to others who were humans. I don't get doing it to animals but that is pretty evil to do it to those who you know are humans. Mike is really opening up to the world of the strange so good on him and even Henry likes him.

Mike's partner Kate is a total bitch. She is completely clueless about things. Sure he's going to share with her the whole supernatural aspect when she thinks he's going nuts. She just strikes me as someone very narrow minded and maybe it was just me but does she seem just a bit jealous of Mike and Vicki? That would be tricky trying to figure out just when the let the partner know that vampires and other things that bump in the night exist. He could introduce her to Henry and have him show off his fangs and maybe then she'd be the one getting outfitted for her very own padded cell and special coat.

A Bit Of Small And A Dash Of Grey's!

So last night was Thursday that means I'll be babbling about Smallville and Grey's Anatomy. Since I watched Grey's Anatomy that means I haven't watched Supernatural yet so don't tell me anything that happened. Poor Chloe this was like the piss on poor Chloe episode because she had so much badness happen to her. Why couldn't it be Lana instead because that girl is just irritating me. Oh to have a slap button on the remove control that I can push instead of resisting the temptation to smack the TV screen in the feeble hopes that it would get Lana on the face but of course that wouldn't happen.

I have to say that my first impression of Kara was bitch and that is pretty much holding. Sure she was all heroish when she saved people but her Dad was evil which means you have to be a little suspicious of her. Sure you can't blame relatives for something another did. A storyline on Hollyoaks made me think about how people react to people that have the really bad luck to be related to monsters of the world. You can't blame the other people for the evils of the one like Hitler for instance. I think it's pretty fair to say that most people with an ounce of sanity would agree that he was seriously evil but that doesn't mean everyone related to him is evil so Kara might not be evil like her father but Martian Man doesn't like her and he knows things that Clark doesn't.

So for now I'm going with Martian Man after all he did help out Clark and saved his life. Clark needs to be careful about Kara although she might not be evil. It's just that Kara's his only relative from his birth planet so of course he wants her not to be evil. I just don't like her going after Jimmy or James as she calls him. Does she not get the concept of back up bitch the guy's taken? Sure Jimmy isn't completely innocent since he's been drooling over her since day one but come on you're supposed to be the good boyfriend or at least you were.

I think it was guilt that caused him to get those tickets and try to get Chloe to forgive him for the whole Kara thing but sadly their night out never happened what with Chloe finding a potential way to solve her meteor freak status. It can't be easy to have a boyfriend that throws around the word when you happen to be one yourself. I personally think Chloe is the exception to the rule of meteor freaks going all nuts and people ending up dead. She has a healing touch so that would be a little hard to use for evil.

Am I the only one to have this thought but wouldn't it have been cool if Terri Hatcher was on with him as what was her name Sophie or Sophia? Well I watched Lois and Clark so it would have been fitting. Sure that version was different mostly because there was no Chloe and thankfully no Lana and he ended up with Lois and Dad was very much alive. So he ends up being evil but in a way I felt sorry for the guy. I've always thought immortality would suck. Sure most people would think it would be cool and I'm not saying the eternal youth thing would be bad and seeing how things change would be interesting like how electricity wasn't around and then it was and then voila Internet.

It just sounds very lonely to me unless there was someone to share it with. It makes me wonder if he got stranded and Earth and wasn't able to phone home and hitch a ride back to wherever he happens to be from. I'm thinking the only way to stop him was to dismember him like with the Judge since he can't be killed. That would be a pretty good reason for Martian Man not to tell him because of the gross factor. Yes I would have to agree with a buddy of mine on LJ that Dean's voice sounded different. It just didn't sound as squeaky even though it wasn't really squeaky. I'm sure that cleared up any confusion. No it just caused more but it's hard to explain except for the fact that his voice seemed different.

I'm glad that Chloe stood up to Clark and told him that he can't always expect her to be there just waiting to help him out on whatever he happened to need. I would think that him more than anyone has an idea of what she's going through and that a chance to fix it would be very appealing. She won't always be around for him although it was so sad when he was telling her that she'd forget him when she was telling him about the operation she was planning. I think it hit him right there just how much he needs her and cares about her. Maybe some sparkage could be reignited but I'm not holding my breath. At least her heart wasn't cut out but she ended up without a boyfriend because Jimmy's an idiot.

Maybe the rose colored glasses that Clark wears as far as Lana is concerned are being removed since he knows she was lying to him about the so called divorce settlement. I never thought I'd be saying this but I think Lex was actually trying to make up for that what was it 314 project. Ok am I getting my numbers wrong because there was the one on Buffy and I think it's the same number or pretty damn close? Sure at the same time he wanted to cover his ass and make sure the victims didn't finger him but I think he did want these people cured and given a second chance. As for Lana she's just got me confused because that's just not Lana. She's never struck me as someone who is super smart so I'm thinking she's not the real one epically after seeing that setup in that room wherever that room is. Oh no she's Alister in disguise since that is something he would do. I do wonder what happened to Lionel and think that maybe Kara has him hidden away after all he's a conduit or whatever to Jor-el. He hasn't been seen and someone took him and I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be Kara. This concludes this portion about Smallville now it's time for Grey's Anatomy.

I wanted to punch Izzie myself last night. I knew Callie didn't forgive him when he revealed his sleeping with Izzie although I really think she was trying to because he's her McDreamy. I wish Callie had punched her but that was really rotten of Izzie to help fan the flames that she was getting her ass kicked by Callie. She didn't seem to quite get the fact that Callie has every reason to be mad. Izzie was never very welcoming to Callie and they all talked about her and never tried to make an effort to befriend her even though George was dating her. Well I think deserved a bit of a smack too.

I totally think Callie could have taken her but she was doing the mature and adult thing and instead she ends up totally humiliated when it should have been Izzie that was humiliated. Alex lashed out because he was jealous although that was mean how he was trying to say that he was much better than George but that's besides the point. He was jealous but he was also hurt because of Izzie telling him that she wasn't ready for a relationship after Dennie or Denny or whatever hell call him John because he bears quite a twin like resemblance to John Winchester.

I so preferred that blonde dick guy on Legacy because he was sweet on that great yet short lived show. That is so disgusting that he made a bargain with his girlfriend for her to get to a size four in order for them to move in together and he'd pretend to quit smoking. Are we supposed to believe he really quit smoking? Too bad he didn't get punched because he would totally deserve that for doing that to his girlfriend. If you love the person you love the person not the person when they're a size four and do you realize just how tiny a size four is?

Aside from the kids part it sounded pretty nice what McDreamy wanted with Meredith. She can just be a stupid bitch at times. Hello he's McDreamy for Pete's sake and who doesn't want one of their very own or maybe a McSteamy because he's pretty easy on the eyes but this is the guy a girl would be lucky to end up with and no she doesn't want it because she's an intern and she isn't ready for it. I would jump at the offer minus the kids part of course because I have no desire to have them. If Meredith doesn't watch out Lexie might just swoop in and grab the guy for herself.

This show usually has a mix of funny and teary moments and there was both but another funny moment was when Norman told Mole Lady that she was going to die. Was I the only one amused by that? Norman is quite informed about everything and even figured out that Mark is McSteamy which is pretty impressive but it was weird to hear him go on with the seriuoslys. I think it's good to be amused so I grab it when I can. Of course the waterworks started with the whole sadness of the Camille sitch. She's only eighteen and this is the third time the cancer came back so I don't really blame her for wanting to go home and just trying to enjoy the time she has left. I hope poor Richard doesn't get put in the doghouse because he respected her decision. Come on really what are the odds that she'd actually be able to recover? I'm just guessing but I'm thinking really low.

The Nails!

If you decide to paint your nails red be warned that you are condemning yourself to a lifetime of painting your nails since you are likely to end up with orange nails. Yes nail polish can turn your nails a weird shade. Another weird thing is that wearing black nail polish can help with that problem. I don't know why it turns them orange but it happened to me and I'm unaware of any product that brings the nails back to the natural nail colored state.

Squirrel!

They are fuzzy are cute although some people don't like them. They even have things you can buy to drive these furry little critters away. I'm personally looking for the one that drives away bugs because I'd rather see a squirrel in the backyard instead of having a bug in my shower or wherever they happen to turn up. I even have names for them and this morning I saw Chester running around on the fence.

It amazes me how they can just run around on the fence and jump into the trees like they can almost fly. One poor squirrel Susie was running for her life the other day because there was a dog encounter where the dog started barking and from the sound of it this wasn't some little dog. She was flying along that fence and flew right into the tree. I'm just glad she didn't fall because that was quite a leap since they aren't very big.

I Want The Painless Kind!

I was watching Private Practice last night and Peter mentioned painless migraines and I want them. I get headaches way too much. I get them so often that it is almost weird when I don't have a headache in some form or another. I want to have a painless one where I fall asleep instead of having it hurt to even move my head. It is hard enough to sleep but putting a wet paper towel on the forehead seems to help a bit. I want to sign up for the painless kind because I want to give back the pain.

I discovered a place that I'm trying out in my quest to earn some money and will most likely end up doing an entry about it later when I have more details. I just signed up today but so far it seems pretty cool but the downside is having to wait to get paid until you have $75 earned. That can be a pain in the butt but maybe it won't take so long to reach that mark. Sure most places have a limit but others like PayPerPost just send out the payments individually although it isn't unusual to end up getting payment for more than one post on a given day. This is just one of those times where I'll have to wait and see what happens.

I'm still having problems with Blogger but the weird thing is that it just seems to be Melancholy Musings because the other blogs on here including mine seem to be all fine and I haven't heard anything from Blogger. So I'm faced with the decision of moving over to WordPress because there are too many times that the blog at Blogger doesn't work right and this is a recent problem but it doesn't seem to be clearing up even though I've tried a few things like removing pictures. I've contacted Blogger a couple times but haven't heard from them so I'm working adding the links to WordPress. It is the exact same site so if you happen to be at either place you're getting the exact same babble. I just thought it was a good idea to have a backup site and it looks like I was right.

Actually I would like to keep the Blogger site but with things going wonky that is up in the air but for the time being I will have posts in both places. The only thing that might differ would be pictures because I haven't figured out how to add HTML code to posts although I can do it on pages at WordPress. I haven't really learned my way around there because I had that up just as backup. Is anyone else having problems with their Blogger blog? I have go to other blogs on Blogger and haven't had problems. Well the other day I went to Mari Mancusi's blog and I was just checking and couldn't access the archives. On that day I was able to access the Blogger blog and couldn't access the archives and got an error message but then it would go to where it said it couldn't go.

Ned is going to have to go to Costco or something to stock up on plastic wrap. I would have to say that Pushing Daisies along with Moonlight are my favorite new shows of the season. So I was able to get my laugh on while watching Pushing Daisies. Ok last night I also got a little misty but I'm not telling what made me misty or what I happened to be watching at the time after all mystery is supposed to be alluring right? Ok maybe not so much.

Oh yeah I was right there with Sam on the confusion about Arm & Hammer because it didn't hit me right away that it is just some guy's arm and a hammer. The bald guy is Mr Clean and I think the Tidy Bowl Man. So go on and be a strong bald man or whatever he was saying. I thought Addison was going to yell it since she was saying it too even though she's obviously no man and not the least bit bald. What about the bald women? Don't they get some mantra to say too? Lynette needs one. Hmm I think I have one. I'm a strong bald woman who could kick your ass if you spike my brownies again.

Oh speaking of chocolate I saw something that disturbed me. I saw an article about dry skin that you can find at http://body.aol.com/health/fall-health/dry-skin. My first thought went to chocolate because it mentioned foods to avoid and damn it all that would be on the list. Why would chocolate make skin dry? I didn't have skin issues until I was forced to move her. When I was in California my hands would change colors like to purple or orange when they were cold but oddly I never wore gloves there. Now that I'm here I have to wear them year round unless I want hands that look like a mini Freddy went after them with his finger knives. I manage and unless it is windy out or starts raining I have no problem read walking.

I just don't get the chocolate part because the whole thing about chocolate causing pimples is a total myth. So it doesn't give a person pimples but it gives them dry skin. A person can't be asked to live without a regular infusion of chocolate. That is just cruel and unnatural. I feel bad for people who are allergic to it because of what they're missing but there's that saying that you can't miss what you've never had. I don't really agree with it because you could yearn for something that you never had. So I won't stop eating chocolate and the hands are doing better a and I might do some of those tips like lathering up right out of the shower although I think it's weird to put lotion on after jumping out of the shower.

Well you don't put it on when you're wet because it says to towel dry first. It also says to avoid baths which is something I can do because I only have a stupid shower in the basement. I enjoy baths but there seems to be some stupid law that says bathtubs are frowned upon in the basement otherwise why wouldn't there be one? There's a bathroom so why not a bathtub? The person that did the bathroom was a moron because the shower is like a coffin and the sink is huge. The sink is about the size of a tub so I know that a tub would fit in there. Are tubs allowed in the basement? You can't just relax in the shower and read for a while unless you have the book waterproofed or something or it is made of plastic.

Just My Opinion!

So I went to go pick up my books from the library and decided to check out the computers there to see if it was just my computer that was being all wonky and I encountered the same problem so I don't know what the problem is and wonder if it might be a state thing. I just don't know at this point. At least I didn't have any moron encounters unless I count the four standing outside the library talking.

There was I'm pretty sure it was Susie running for her life on the fence because Cujo started barking at her and scared the poor thing. She took a huge risk making that jump but she managed to get into the tree. Stupid dog scaring the poor little squirrel. I have no idea what the dog looks like but it sounds big would have no problem gulping poor Susie up in one bite. So far it hasn't rained yet but it looks like it could so I'm glad that I missed the rain because I don't like read walking in the rain because of the soggy factor. Sure if it is misting and I have the umbrella up that is fine but I can't read if it is a downpour.

Last night I watched Heroes and was a bit disappointed. Was it me not being in a good mood or something but was that episode not so good and dare I say it kind of boring? Yes I said it and I stick by that even though I love the show. At least Nathan finally shaved the beard which was simply horrible. Not all guys can pull of a beard and there are degrees of beard that look best on certain guys. Is this just another weirdness coming from me or what?

Now I think Brad Pitt is hot but even he doesn't look good with a full on bushy beard. He looks hot with a beard but not a really heavy one. Adrian is the same way because that beard just didn't look right and the guy is good looking. It just seemed really slow and there was no Hiro who is one of my favorite characters. Maya should have black plagued Sylar because if he gets that power everyone is screwed. It's just a good thing that his powers seem to be on the fritz although he's still dangerous.

Icons Or Avatars?

So I'm a little confused about icons and avatars because they seem to be interchangable. When I go to a website like Iconator they call the really small ones icons and the bigger ones avatars but when I'm at LJ looking around they call them icons and I'm not talking about the little ones. It is just weird how these two words are thrown around which could lead to some confusing or just me babbling about it. An icon just seems to be a smaller version of an avatar although some people call the avatar an icon which is just something that I noticed because I'm odd. Whatever they are called I really like them and often use them so I have quite the collection going.

Little Dizzy!

It isn't a fun thing to be working on something only to get a bloody nose. That's what happened to me and it isn't bleeding anymore but since I was in the middle of something I was sitting here holding a tissue to my nose trying to finish what I was working on. I'm feeling a bit dizzy so I probably should have and maybe should lay down or something but I had lunch so hopefully that will help. I'm just glad that I wasn't bleeding while I was eating because I'm not so sure about ketchup and blood going together although they both happen to be red.

I am a bit annoyed with ABC because they always start and end weird. I missed a little bit of the first Grey's Anatomy of the season and last Friday when I recording that new show Women's Murder Club or whatever it's called I missed the start of it. I wish the networks would get together and end and start so a person can jump channels although that could be the reason why they don't sync up because they don't want viewers to do that but I don't want to watch the hour on CBS before CSI Miami so I leave that station for the hour.

I watched Christina Applegate's new show and I went from MTV to ABC with no problem but it was the return trip back to CBS that didn't work because CSI Miami started already so I'll just be watching it on On Demand. Maybe it's the blood loss but I would swear that the guy that plays Henry and I want to call him Kyle was on CSI Miami last night. I'll just have to finish watching it because I started watching during lunch but I'll wait until later to watch it.

I guess I'm lukewarm about this show but I think I would watch it again. The only new shows this season that I really like are Moonlight, Pushing Daisies and Private Practice. Big Bang or whatever the hell it's called I watch but I'm not eagerly awaiting the next episode or anything. I guess there are less shows for me to watch because of the lack of two networks in my viewing realm. Well I just don't like networks that cancel all the good shows and keep crap on like I want to watch America's Top Model or whatever the hell that show is called instead of say Veronica Mars. Also I take issue with a network that seems intent on killing soaps from their network entirely and three soaps is just the last straw so that network is gone too.

Once again I watched The Hills and surprise not really the truth came out about who started the rumor about the sex tape. Gee how surprised was I not to find out that Spencer was behind it. Come on his face had guilt written all over it. Maybe Heidi didn't know but from the expression on her face it seemed like she was contemplating the fact that he could have been behind it. Sure I don't like the girl at all but I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt in her not knowing but a very small one because I just don't like her and that comment she made at Ketchup was pretty fishy to me. It could have just been her being bitchy but it could also be an admission of guilt.

I refuse to use the animal name after her name but this is what I'm thinking about Jen. She got herself Heidi's nose. Go on and look when the two are together. They now have the exact same nose. I wouldn't be surprised if she went to the plastic surgeon with a picture of Heidi and told him or her that she wanted this nose. Now it looks good so I'm not bashing her for getting surgery because I'm not anti surgery. There are limits of course and that Barbie chick or whatever is one of them that takes things to the extreme. Who wants to look like Barbie really? You want to be all plastic sure that's attractive. Not!

Soap Rant

So I was able to print up today's summary of Passions but I'm still annoyed that I have to do that instead of being able to watch the show for myself. Too bad they don't have a contest for winning a year of it free of charge for writing why a fan should be able to watch it for free. That would be a contest that I would totally take advantage of but of course there isn't one unless there is one that I haven't heard about. I'm still behind on it but I plan to try to catch up. I think I am dragging my feet because I am still hoping that I'll wake up one day to find it some horrible dream where it is still on and I haven't written off another network never to be viewed again.

How Cute Was He?

Yes I realize that today is Monday and that Supernatural was on Thursday but I'm talking about it today so deal with it. That kid that played Ben was just adorable and it was like a mini Dean because they were so much alike with the mannerisms and the way they spoke. It's no wonder Dean thought it was his son after all he's a fan of ACDC and was talking about chicks. He even helped the others escape just like his almost Daddy. Dean looked disappointed because it seemed like he thought it wouldn't have been so bad to be there with the girl and the son and the white picket fence after all it certainly beats demon hunting and having a year left to live.

Well I didn't see that coming. Blondie turns out to be a demon which I didn't expect at all and of course she offers Sam the thing he wants most in the world to save his brother. In a way it's like they shouldn't be brothers because they are so often mistaken for a couple which is amusing. They are like the guy version of Xena and Gabrielle. Why not a demon that isn't evil after all it wouldn't be the first time that's happened. They had good demons on Buffy, Angel, and Charmed so why not here too since we shouldn't just assume that they are all evil and she did save his ass and killed demons instead of Sam. I do wonder about her motives though because she knows she has him because of what she's offering.

Maybe I've gone crazy without anyone telling me but I would swear that there was an episode of Dark Angel called The Kids Are Alright and if I'm not mistaken Jensen played twins and one of them I think was Ben and the other was Alec. Am I wrong? I really don't feel like looking but I think I'm right but I'm willing to admit that I could be wrong but I don't think I am. I guess I'm just showing my weirdness when I notice odd things that might go unnoticed by other people.

Another thing that is odd would be twins on TV. Sure often they are played by the same actor but sometimes they have actual twins like on Desperate Housewives but one thing I've noticed is that they tend to not be the same age. Now I wouldn't say that I've watched every single show that has twins but the ones I've seen where there are two different people and they aren't actual twins one is always older than the other. Jensen played a twin but Allison Sweeney is a little older than him I think like a year or something. Jason Priestley and Shannen Doherty played twins and I think he's a little older than her. Am I the only one to notice this? Am I being odd again?

Well this is a little upsetting. I was just checking the spelling because I'm used to spelling Shannon with an o and not an e like Shannen Doherty does so I went to double check since I actually try to spell things right and I just happened to see Eric Dean on my screen. Believe me I'd much rather have the boy in person but what struck me is that he was born in 1972 and there was that jab about his age on Grey's Anatomy and he's a year older than me so do I qualify for geriatric status on my next birthday. I think the age deduction should begin. He still hasn't shown up in the room so no McSteamy for me.

Since I opened the Grey's Anatomy can of worms. Ok there are no actual worms but how can I not mention it after mentioning Eric although it was on the Charmed section that I saw him and not on Grey's Anatomy. I don't really like the whole pairing of Izzie and George. I just don't see them as other than being best friends. So even though I love Izzie I've been annoyed with her this season and yes I've wanted to smack her a time or two. I feel bad for Callie but what was she thinking when she married George. I guess she was thinking that she was getting her McDreamy but now he's turned into McCheaty Poophead.

Blog Action Day!

So today is Blog Action Day and honestly I have no clue what to write so this will probably turn into a total babblefest. Well there are things you can do that aren't that hard that will help out. Sure I might have heard about these on TV or whatever but why not put them down since I'm writing this post after all. I'm not sure if all of these apply because I'm a bit spacey today but they couldn't hurt. I might be mixing in energy conscious stuff in with this so bear with my weirdness.

1. You can recycle which helps and in some cases if you're not in the stupid state of CO you can actually get some money for it which is a real motivator.

2. They have those cars Hybrids I think that help if you drive which I don't.

3. I am an avid pedestrian except for those times when I take the bus so why not try to take the bus or train every so often. I think Thursday is the day here where they ask people to take public transportation to try to get some cars off the road. I did see something odd about a week ago. It had to be wrong but it said that gas was nine dollars a gallon which had to be a typo.

4. Lose the hair spray or at least the aerosol sprays.

5. Give your hair a break and don't blow dry it. I do that all the time because blow drying my hair is such a pain in the ass and takes too long. So I just put it up in a hair clip and voila I'm done.

6. When you have the heat on set the temperature to 68 degrees.

7. I think there was something about using appliances like the washer and dryer in the evening or something.

8. Don't leave the lights on when you leave a room.

Ok I'm getting blank at this point so I'm done now. Feel free go giggle at the oddness that is me because why yes I am odd.

Day Of Gloom!

So it is raining out and I'm not talking just some small shower I'm talking full on rain. I just love this picture. She does some really beautiful pictures so I'm a frequent visitor at Glitter Graphics and a big fan of CoiaMoura. How can you not be this picture is gorgeous only with others she does. I hadn't really used this before now because they were always too big to fit the template but since circumstances caused me to change the template to a wider space for text I'm able to use them.

I hope Torchwood is up on On Demand today because I didn't get a chance to watch it last night. I just love that show. John is just so very yummy and it looks like the British has worn off on him since he pronounced pedophile the British way. Just think about that for a second. Say it out loud those of you who are Americans. Now say pedestrian and pediatrician. The English actually say it the way it should be said but I have a theory that could be totally wrong but I think I like my theory. So if you haven't said the words out loud do it right now to hear the sounds of each word.

Now this is just my opinion and of course I have no way of knowing who said the word pedophile the way that Americans say it but I'm thinking it might be said the way it is because it sounds different from pediatrician. This is sort of a way to separate the two words even though they both involve kids so it is like keeping the evil separate from the good. So the British say it the way it should be said even John does because he said the word on an episode and the boy's American so there is no problem understanding him unless of course he uses British Speak that you don't understand but of course if that happens you can just go over to the BBCAmerica website to figure out just what the heck was being said.

Some words are just weird like therapist. If you split the word into two you get the rapist which isn't very comforting if you want or need to go see one. I think they should come up with a new word because I just don't really like the word. I guess someone could break apart engaged and say that isn't a good word either because you take the first two and last letters and you're left with the word gag. So there should be a new word to replace the word therapist. Maybe I'm just being weird which is very likely since I am weird just not in that bad sort of way. I just think outside the box.

Another thing that I find odd is golfers wearing the one glove. Why do they wear one glove? I wasn't really watching it but the other night I had Big Shots on and they were playing golf. At first I thought since the three guys were wearing them on the left hand that they put the glove on the opposite hand but I saw Michael wearing it on the left hand too and he's a leftie so that idea went out the window. Why don't they wear gloves on both hands?

Getting Paid To Blog!

I started blogging about a year ago starting with Myspace. I signed up because a friend was on so I thought this would be a way to keep in contact with her and I started blogging on there. So I ended up here because of a book called Stake That by Mari Mancusi. It's a great book so you really should check it out along with the others in the series. So a character in the book had a blog at blogspot so I was wondering if the place was real and it turns out that it is so I signed up. Not too long after that I stumbled across a blog for a year competition and entered that and came across PayPerPost.

PayPerPost is the first place to sign up with. You can sign up even if you haven't had your blog long but you can't start writing paid posts until you have had it for ninety days and have at least twenty posts and ironically at the time I had more than twenty posts but I hadn't had it for ninety days so I waited. You can put the badges at the end of each post you do until your blog gets the green light. If a person clicks on this badge at the end of my post and signs up I get paid for it but they also get paid for doing a review of my post.

I would recommend PayPerPost but there are a few details a person should know that I would have appreciated knowing about before getting into posting mode. You need to have regular posts that are at least three to five lines long in between each post. I would have preferred to know about that before but this is a pretty easy thing to do for me because I tend to babble. You can do up to three posts but it can be tricky when you don't have a high page ranking hence my questing to get linked on other peoples blogs. I only really started doing this in September although I did write two posts in August and so far I've written twenty-nine posts and thirteen hav been accepted.

It does take time for a post to get accepted and even if it gets rejected and yes I've had some rejected it tends to be something that is easily fixed. When a post requires a link to the website you're writing about make sure to put in within the entry instead of on top because the post will be rejected. You also need to make sure that you have a disclosure policy on your blog. I got it and have it linked on my sidebar so it is visible at all times since you have to tell people that you are getting paid for some of the posts on your blog which is no problem. That is very easily done. You can get that right from the PayPerPost website if you happen to sign up. I would say this is a place that you should sign up for and I'm not just saying that to get you to click on the badge below.

Another place I found was Smorty and so far it is slower than PayPerPost but I have written a few posts but it is all about the page ranking and there is an affiliate program which I haven't really looked into yet. They do email you about new opportunities but there haven't been that many. So if you sign up here and it doesn't hurt to after all I have earned money at this place check your email or at least log in just in case an opportunity arises since they can be gone pretty quick. I've only missed out on one chance so far since I make sure to go over there at least once a day. You can find them at http://www.smorty.com.

One thing you really should do if you want to join the world of getting paid to blog is set up a PayPal account which is very easily done since most of the places are going to pay you through PayPal. It is easy to set up and if you have a bank account it allows your payments to be sent directly there which is pretty handy. There are other places you can sign up at and right now I'm looking at Rewarding Reviews but it has been only one day so I don't really know if this will work for me or not but I might end up writing another post with an update on how I'm doing. I know that seeing a post with someone mentioning places was a great way for me to find out about places so hopefully this will help someone looking to get into this. These two places would be a great starting point.

I'm Questing!

So I'm exploring the world of getting paid to blog and I've added another one to the list. I have already signed up at Smorty which hasn't given that much but I've written five posts and I'm just waiting for number five to be approved. I haven't been doing this very long since I wrote two posts in August towards the end of the month and didn't really start going for it until September.

I also am signed up at PayPerPost which has more opportunities and so far I've written twenty-nine and have thirteen approved. The amount of choices depends on your ranking so I'm trying to improve that because currently I'm a zero which isn't that great but at least I've been able to write consistently here. There are some requirements like you have to have had the blog up for ninety days with at least twenty entries and to make sure to put the anchor link in the text instead of the top otherwise it gets rejected.

I came across a blog the other day and this person didn't seem to like PayPerPost because of posts getting rejected so I can only speak for myself but pretty much any time a post was rejected it was just a simple matter of fixing something minor like adding the link and of course you have to make sure you have posts that are at least three to five lines in between the paid posts which isn't too hard if you happen to be a babbler like me. So now I'm trying Rewarding Reviews and wrote my first post and will likely do another today because there was a list of them that I could choose from. I'll let you know how that goes.

Fangpalooza!

So last night was a double dose of vampires which was cool and there were no timing snafus like there often are if you watch something on ABC and then switch over to CBS. That is annoying if you ask me but no one asked but that doesn't stop me from putting down my opinion. I wonder if there will ever be an episode of Ghost Whisperer where I don't end up crying at some point during the episode.

Am I the only one to do this? Maybe I'm the only one willing to admit it. Hey I do cry when something is sad it's not like I'm made of stone or something and usually when the ghost is talking to their loved ones I get a little weepy. So it was nice to have two more great shows to watch after that to stop the tears although I was pretty close to misty when watching Moonlight. Now I'm not talking about that here because I have a blog that is just for Moonlight. If you want to read it go to to it and you have a choice between Vox and LiveJournal. I am trying to avoid doing a website for Moonlight although I'm getting really tempted and it is only three episodes in but there's the whole I don't know if this show will last even though I want it to but I have decided to add quizzes for each of the episodes that I'll backdate so they are in between the entries where I talk about that week's episode. If I find myself doing more than that I guess I'll be putting the website if it comes to that at my tripod site called gotfangs but I haven't decided on that yet. I'll let you know if I do decide to be utterly insane and do a website for yet another show even though I'm a bit behind on other stuff. I guess the writing will be good practice since it is supposed to be a good thing to write every day which I do even if it turns into a babblefest. So now I'm off to figure out what I want to eat and when I get back I'll do my Moonlight entry.
