All That Remains

Well I'm nearly done with this since I only have about thirty or so pages to go. I think I've read a few of her but this was just a case of me picking up a book because I don't really plan what I'm reading. It was a backup when I went to the library the other day since I was almost done with a book and actually did end up finishing it at the library so this was started on the return home. I just don't like the library near me since they have a paperback phobia and I prefer books in paperback since it is much easier to read walk with them. This isn't terribly long but I guess it is compared to the books I've been reading lately.

There's a series of murders where couples are being killed and Kay has no idea what the cause of death is. She really should call in Brennan since she knows her way around bones. The remains aren't very fleshy and there seems to be no obvious cause of death. A case from the past just might tie in with the current killings. The daughter of a bigwig gains attention which isn't always such a good thing since things are revealed that the Feds would have preferred to keep hidden.

Even Kay who has been working on the case is kept in the dark about things. So what in the heck is going on? Is her friend Abby who happens to be a reporter using her. What is Benton hiding? Who is doing the killing? Will the person get caught? If you're a fan of shows like Bones you'll probably end up liking the book or other authors like Tami Hoag or Kathy Reichs. You'll just have to read the book to find out who is killing the couples and actually I need to finish it myself since it only seems like it could be the killer but who knows at this point since I'm not quite done. I always know that I'm really into a book when I end up reading more than I normally do.
