These Boots Were Made For Strutting

First of all the name really doesn't fit since there aren't any boots although I might be missing the meaning behind the title. Also if you'll notice there are three authors listed which means anthology at least sort of. The books are all tied together through HiHeelia.com a shoe website. The handy thing about books that have more than one author is the chance to discover someone new. I've heard of Melanie Jackson but not the other two at least not that I'm aware of.

The first story did make me laugh but that just might be me being crazy. Well Keley does have goats which is amusing if you happen to be over at LiveJournal. That Frank can really drive me nuts. She is a landscaper and her latest client gives quite an interesting first impression. You'll just have to read to find out what exactly he was waving in front of her when he woke up that morning when she was in the garden cursing the weeds. She ends up getting a pair of shoes that changes her life.

The next story has Kya who ends up getting a pair of shoes too see that's the theme that ties everything together although all three stories are separate. She happens to have a cat. Much like the other story the shoes change her life and I enjoyed this story too so I'll be looking into these previously unknown authors to add to my book list. Yep there are more Fear Street books on the way since most of the in transits have finally arrived and hopefully the three I believe that are still in transit will arrive before I go over to the library to pick them up so there will be more Fear on the way.

I'm not quite done with the book but I soon will be. The third one is following the same theme of a pair of shoes arriving. Now if only they'd do that with sneakers I'd be all for it since I don't like heels and won't wear the damn things. I've seen what they do to feet and I don't want that happening to my feet not to mention the whole walking pretty much everywhere thing which you really can't do with heels. Well I can't and could you imagine me read walking with a pair of heels? Yikes I'd end up breaking my neck or something and up until now I've somehow managed to avoid breaking any bones which is odd since I'm no stranger to falling and no it isn't due to read walking in case you were wondering.
