The Art Of Commenting

Now I'm pretty sure that most of us enjoy getting comments well except for those who turn the comments off but I thought I'd mention a few handy tips to help make the commenting process go a bit smoother. There are many languages out there and guess what we all don't speak the same one. Sure some of us speak more than one or maybe bits and pieces of another. Hell I've even come across a few blogs where I'm not even sure what language it is so I've passed on them because I don't know what the heck it said so it would be silly to leave a comment. It could have been about porn for all I know or it could have given me a laugh if I knew what language it was and found a way to translate it.

Comment in the language of the blog unless you know for a fact that the person is bilingual. What's the point of leaving a comment in another language if the person can't even figure it out? Acceptable substitutes would be British after all I'm a Joss Whedon fan so I know some British and I do watch a British soap. Aussies are included too but I do warn you if you leave something with one of your words that might not be American please leave the definition. I had a hell of a time with the whole butter that actually turned out to be bitter sitch and don't get me started about how the word row sounds in a British accent.

When you comment have it actually pertain to the post. If it happens to be a book post refer to the book. You might decide to check the book out for yourself or maybe you've read it and enjoyed it yourself. A author suggestion would also be welcome since I enjoy finding new authors to read after all I'm a book slut even though I rely on the library to fill my book needs. If the post is about a TV show which I'll admit is getting non existent right now with the exception of Harper's Island and Mental I think which is on and not a confusing one time thing until the new season starts mention that. If you haven't seen it fine or maybe you really enjoy it too. You might have a theory about the killer or killers?

Well there you go that wasn't too hard was it? Now later on I might do a list about Harper's Island since there are a few things that are niggling in my brain like the dead body that was mentioned? Hmm maybe that could lead to a plot bunny that I might post over at my website later on. You'll just have to stay tuned since I'm not doing it right now. So happy commenting and go forth and comment. Just do it in a way that makes sense because it doesn't make sense to leave a comment that has nothing to do with anything. It makes me think that was just a comment just to get the link for your blog. I make a point of leaving a comment that has to do with the blog post but maybe that's just me.

Blogs To Check Out

Life: A Race To Run

There are so many blogs out there that it can be a bit overwhelming. When you have a blog you actually want people to stop by and read it at least I do. So if you're looking for another blog and you're a woman you might want to give this blog a read. And I'm sure you won't be turned away if you're a man although you might want to be careful to avoid setting off an alarm.

And if you happen to have some advice about using a Hair Iron to help control your wild hair I'm sure it will be much appreciated. Sadly I have nothing to say on that since I have straight as straight can be hair. So I came across this blog and urge you to do the same. I find it really handy when people point me in the direction of another blog. It's not like typing in a certain topic in the search engine is all that helpful. All too often you get too much or in my case things that aren't even remotely close to what I was looking for.

Technology Story

It seems like everyone has a blog today. Once you get a blog at a place that you like you start writing but there is more to it than that. At Joomla, Wordpress, Template, Tutorial & Troubleshooting you can get help with the other things that are involved in putting out a blog. Now one thing that has puzzled me are the AdSense Ads. Some people are actually able to make money with them but I never had any luck with them so I got rid of them.

Here at this blog you can find help on how you can get the right ads. When I had them up they usually tended to have nothing to do with my blog. Also another thing that people with blogs want would be a high PageRank. It is a necessary evil because this tells you how many people are visiting your blog. Of course we all want people to come because it's nice to meet other people and it can be pretty lonely in the blogosphere if no one reads your blog. This along with other things can be found in this most helpful blog.
