Melancholy Musings

Well since I saw so many stupid people when I went out to get my free bagel I decided to make it Stupid Day. Is there some process I need to go through to make it become a holiday? Spread the word and point out the stupid. Yes I had many stupid encounters but thankfully most of them weren't direct stupid encounters but I did my duty to point out to them how stupid they were to ride on the sidewalk. I will continue to do that and invite others to join me. I swear people that aren't pedestrians tend to have superior attitudes when it comes to those of us who are pedestrians. I do have the right to walk on the sidewalk without some idiot on a bike. I don't think that's an outrageous request.

I did see a few people that got the concept of a sidewalk so they were riding their bikes on the street like they should be. I don't know why someone would want to ride a bike on the sidewalks around here since they suck. One of them even had a bunch of rocks so someone not very observy just might not notice and end up flying. I didn't do it. I'm not the one with the rock fetish since that seems to be something that people here do. Sure it makes sense to have rocks that can end up in the sidewalk because someone was too stupid or lazy to finish making the sidewalk.

So today point out people doing stupid things and maybe it'll catch on. Maybe you'll see someone picking their nose out in public. People should really know better since you should save any nose picking for those times when you're alone and make sure to wash your hands afterwards. Maybe someone trips and has a dumb moment. Hey I've even done that myself and no I'm not going to tell you how many times because I can't count that high. Keep your eyes peeled for stupid people and enjoy the day after all no one is immune to being stupid at least some of the time after all I know virtually nothing about computers but that doesn't stop me from using one.

Since today was Friday I was able to grab my free bagel and I was smarter about things today. It was a race against the clock since they only do it till eleven and I left a bit later than I did last week and well you know how that went if you read last week's post about it. I got there in time but this time I didn't get my wallet out because they have the stupid trip to two registers which still doesn't make any sense to me. This time I just had my coupon in my hand and I pulled out the dollar and change for the other bagel since this time I just got the one bagel free. So it was a success and once again I wonder if they might do it again since I like getting a free bagel.

I did start thinking when I was in the parking lot about to enter the bagel place so I just might end up writing something unless it slips out of my brain again which could happen. The idea is there and I was thinking about doing something so stay tuned because I just might end up writing something and oh crap I just realized that once again I forgot to take my St John's Wort. I kind of fell out of the habit when I ran out but I have some so I need to get back into the habit. I think it calmed me a bit. Now if only I could find the cure to insomnia things would be a lot better. I had a weird dream but I'm not sure what it was about aside from it being weird which is nice and vague.
