4th Of July

Oops I read this a lot faster than I thought I would. I picked it up before going to bed and read for a while and finished it off the next day. Well there's a method to the madness since this is from another library which means I can only renew it the once so I thought I'd get it out of the way before I end up with a book due that hasn't been read yet.

So continues the tale of the women's murder club although there really isn't much of a club going on. I guess it lost its appeal after that death. Now you don't have to read these in order but I suggest you do and come on this is only the fourth book so it isn't like you have to read twenty books before getting to this one.

Anyhoo Lindsay is a cop which means she catches bad guys for a living. A horrible tragedy turns her life upside down. So instead of being out on the street trying to catch a killer she's instead on trial which could lead to her life getting totally ruined. It does make you think about things and how appearances can be deceptive. The bad guys can come in all sizes even small packages. Will her life be ruined? Well you'll have to read it to find out and it would be a quick read.

I say it has to do with the text on the page. Bigger text means quicker read since there are less words on the page. At least that's what I think but I've never kept track of how long it took me to read a certain amount of pages. That requires math and I'm not a fan of math and only use it if I have to. And a case from the past seems to be connected with a series of murders. What will happen? Will the killers get caught? Will someone else die? Will Lindsay die? Who's watching who? I suggest you get your butt to the library's card catalog where you can find it at the library since they allow you books for free which is good for someone that doesn't have money to throw after every book I happen to read. Yikes that would be a lot of money.
