Body Of Evidence

I'd like to take a moment of silence for poor Sammy. Bow your head and close your eyes. Okay I happen to like squirrels so I wasn't too happy about the fate of this little guy. I'm sure you can guess what happened if not the way it happened. Did that make any sense? Nope I'm not one of those people that hates squirrels and wants to send them away. I name them myself so I liked when I read Kay doing the same thing.

Yes there's death in this book in case you haven't caught on after all Kay does look at dead bodies for a living which is what a medical examiner tends to do. A writer ends up dead so Kay ends up doing the autopsy but of course other people end up dying and hello there seems to be a connection. And Kay gets into a bit of hot water herself when a psycho decides to go after her and damn she's stuck going after a manuscript because some evil lawyer has an axe to grind. And someone from Kay's past turns up.

Well I'd say I did like the book because I read it and it did go a bit quicker but I'm odd and it depends on the text. Yes the text can determine how long it takes to read a book. No I still haven't set a timer to find out how fast I read a book because it really doesn't matter. Some take longer while others don't. It isn't always about whether or not I'm liking the book because some books just have more words to read. So yes I'll be picking up another book by this author although it depends on whether or not I can find any paperbacks at the library. Such a shame that the place has such a phobia about them.
