This book goes back to the past when Angelica and Simon Fear were alive. They had two daughters named Hannah and Julia. Hallie and her family end up moving to Shadyside from some unnamed town in Virginia. This is in the 1900's so Hallie's best friend Jenna comes to Shadyside to spend the summer with her. While there they meet Angelica Fear. Now of course there are stories about the Fears but the two girls who like sisters go to the house.Maybe it isn't such a good idea to accept jewelry from a person named Fear especially when it happens to belong to the dead daughters. As usual this stuff is like crack even if it is totally nuts. I don't like jewelry being used for evil. The Fears want to bring their daughters back and want to use these two girls to do it. So yes the amulet is in the book which you might recall from other books. So this steps into the world of the Fears who don't really show up in the other Fear Street books.

I just stumbled upon them by accident when I was taking a class which included working in a bookstore. I found a blog recently that talked about them so I couldn't resist going back and reading these very crazy stories.
