It seems like anything having to do with the supes just lands poor Sookie into a heap of trouble and this one is the worst. Her great grandfather should have just kept his distance. Also the shifters decided to come out of the closet. Well I don't know what you'd call it. The vampires have coffins but the shifters don't really have anything unless they revealed their hairy side. This doesn't go very smoothly since Sam is forced to go home and Arlene just shows what a total bitch she is. Who would want a friend like her?
While I love the series I wasn't all that crazy about things that happened. Shame on you Eric for what you did and what was the point of that thing that happened? If I was Sookie I'd want to just forget about all of those people except Sam of course. She'd have been better off without the lot of them even if her great grandfather just wanted to get to know her. And while I'm not all that crazy about Jason after what he did but I felt kind of bad about the way Niall treated him. Oh yes judge someone because he happens to look like someone you can't stand. That's really nice. Of course I look forward to the next installment and suggest you read them before it comes out. You'll have plenty of time.

2 Bite Me:
I have yet to start this series. I keep looking at the first book and telling myself to "go ahead, start it" but I have a feeling that once I finish, I will want to read all of them in order. I need to save up some time to do it!
You really should. It's a great series. I actually was pretty slow and it didn't take me all that long to reread the series and of course the newest book which I hadn't read yet and I started in July.
