Still Waters

Yes I know I should have gone back to that other book but I ended up starting this one which resulted in me finishing it before getting back to the other book which I'll probably end up explaining when I do that post within the next few days. This certainly doesn't make me want to live in a small town since they are brutal if you're an outside.

Elizabeth Stuart moves to Still Water with her son Trace where she wants to start over after divorcing her scumbag husband. Since the rich can basically get away with anything people go around assuming the worst. It doesn't help that there's a murder and there hasn't been one in years. Also if you're prone to paranoia it might get you a bit paranoid about people watching you. The thought of that is just creepy not that anyone with a shred of sanity would want to watch me but hey I think that's the whole point not being of the sane.

Also I found that I'm just not cut out to be Amish. Not having indoor plumbing is a deal breaker and I would imagine that includes electricity so even though I might have some issues with technology and yes Herbie I'm talking about you and my status as a technotard the whole Amish thing just isn't for me. I don't think they'd like having your ears pierced or having a love for jewelry. Where oh where are you Jewelry fairy? It would be nice to have a diamond. Or maybe I could get a visit from the Money fairy since I could use some.

Well I did like the book otherwise I wouldn't have read it and I even took time to finish it off so now I can get back to the other one. You just might not be able to figure out who the killer is because it is a bit unexpected. And like other books by Tami there's a touch of romance among the murder so if you're not really a romance reader you'll probably enjoy the book anyway. I'm not a big romance reader not that I've never read them but I did like the book and Elizabeth is a really great character so dive in and enjoy.
