A Time To Die

Well I'm feeling like an idiot because it turns out that this is a series but I'm guessing it is the first one. It doesn't seem like a series although I'll have to admit that I don't object to the idea. I just found Beverly by chance when I was in the B section of the library. Yes I actually was looking through the aisles. I was actually looking for something else but once again a name jumped out at me and it sounded interesting after I peeked at the back which I sometimes do if I've never heard of the author.

Lexie was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was a rookie reporter sent to Gadi to film the inauguration of a new president. What she had no clue about was a team of soldiers that were sent in to kill this dictator. She got caught in the crossfire. Now ten years have passed and she's gotten on with her life. Her past ends up catching up with her when she starts getting targeted by a mad bomber who feels she should have died that day. I'm proud to announce that I was able to figure out who it was. Go me.

I've never seen romantic suspense although I'll admit to not always looking at the spine to see what it says. So it is a romance which I really don't read but it adds in the suspense element so it isn't all about Thor sticking his bulging shaft into Flora's maidenhood or whatever. The creepy thing is that this book while fiction could actually be non fiction because there are wackos like the bad guy in this book. He thinks he's on a holy mission for Allah. That just sucks for the non insanos that just happen to be that religion. So Lexie is targeted for a non reason which means she needs a bodyguard.

Helping Hands is Lexie's charity that she works at with Cara so when psycho strikes bodyguards are called in. Little does Lexie know that Deke is the man who shot her at least he thinks he did. Talk about a small world. Now it is a race against the clock to find the person before anyone else gets hurt not to mention the big plans the Majeed has for the town which isn't anything good obviously. I did enjoy the book and I'll be looking for the other books although I might have them. It just seems like these two were destined to meet and it is a bit romantic how the guy disobeyed orders to save the girl. I'm not sure if this is a series series or a series. Now scratch your head and wonder about what I just said.

I tend to do weird posts so I'm thinking people point them out to others on what not to do when you're talking about a book.

Blogs To Check Out

Life: A Race To Run

There are so many blogs out there that it can be a bit overwhelming. When you have a blog you actually want people to stop by and read it at least I do. So if you're looking for another blog and you're a woman you might want to give this blog a read. And I'm sure you won't be turned away if you're a man although you might want to be careful to avoid setting off an alarm.

And if you happen to have some advice about using a Hair Iron to help control your wild hair I'm sure it will be much appreciated. Sadly I have nothing to say on that since I have straight as straight can be hair. So I came across this blog and urge you to do the same. I find it really handy when people point me in the direction of another blog. It's not like typing in a certain topic in the search engine is all that helpful. All too often you get too much or in my case things that aren't even remotely close to what I was looking for.

Technology Story

It seems like everyone has a blog today. Once you get a blog at a place that you like you start writing but there is more to it than that. At Joomla, Wordpress, Template, Tutorial & Troubleshooting you can get help with the other things that are involved in putting out a blog. Now one thing that has puzzled me are the AdSense Ads. Some people are actually able to make money with them but I never had any luck with them so I got rid of them.

Here at this blog you can find help on how you can get the right ads. When I had them up they usually tended to have nothing to do with my blog. Also another thing that people with blogs want would be a high PageRank. It is a necessary evil because this tells you how many people are visiting your blog. Of course we all want people to come because it's nice to meet other people and it can be pretty lonely in the blogosphere if no one reads your blog. This along with other things can be found in this most helpful blog.
