Undone

Although this is the first book in a new series I would suggest you go read the Weather Warden series of which this would be a spin off. Do they have spin offs in books? A few of the characters from the Weather Warden series show up but it is focused on Cassiel a Djinn that gets booted by Ashan. I'm with Joanne because I don't think much of this guy either. So if you're someone that goes nuts with spoilers that would be a good reason not to read this and I happen to think it would be better to know the verse before reading this. Of course I won't track you down and force you but you have been warned so go do what you will.

Cassiel is now human and at the mercy of the Wardens who are helping her. Since she's cut off from the aetheric she needs a Warden to siphon energy from I guess you could call it. So she's having to adjust to being human and seeing things in a new light. She is assigned Manny and she meets his family. Of course things aren't going smoothly because someone is out to get them. Who is the real target? And of course Cassiel ends up getting a motorcycle. It is a bit disturbing to find out what the force is that is targeting them but I'm not saying a word since you should read it for yourself. Like Rachel's other books I enjoyed it and okay maybe I did some talking back to the book. Is that a sign of insanity talking to books? It's not like I expect them to speak back to me.
