I'm just not sure about the title. Maybe Walkers would have been better. Does The Walking even make sense when you think about it? I know I'm the Queen Of Confusion and Walkers might actually make you think of Walkers so maybe it could be The Walkers. Ironically I ended up picking this up even though I had intended to read another book. Well it turned out that I just didn't really get into the other book and here's the ironic part I picked it up and guess what I started walking. So there is walking and it just so happens to be the dead folks.
Another thing that I'm a bit confused about is the whole then and now thing. It kept going back to the present and the past which is fine but it would have been better if he mentioned when in the past. It did end up getting revealed how far back in the past and you might get an idea while you're reading but I think it should have been brought up sooner than over halfway through the book. So this is a case of the past coming back to haunt the present and it is tied to these dead people who just keep on walking.
So yes it was another bizarre tale by this guy. I looked and I have about three more books from the library but I did start another book that isn't by this guy and I think this time I'll finish that one before getting back to another Bentley book. Who knows it might be like those RL Stine books that seem to be like crack. I get my hands on a couple and just can't help myself. Unless you like the weird you probably won't like this book. I happen to like weird and it does help that it was less disturbing than that other book. I guess this is what it feels like when people can't help but stop and look at an accident which I've never done myself. I just don't get that. It's kind of ghoulish if you ask me.

2 Bite Me:
I just picked up a book by this author and my brother quickly nabbed it to read first. I can't even remember the name but it sounded good.
I have about four I think that I checked out from the library. He tends to use very simple names. I think the pages might be lined in crack or something. He writes weird but I guess that's why I like it although there's a helping of disturbing on the side too. They certainly aren't boring.
