Don't Tell

I'd have to check the spine but I'm pretty sure it said romantic suspense or something like that. So it isn't full on romance which I'm not really a fan of. And I think I have another book or maybe two that I got from the library. Still waiting for that book fairy to pay me a visit but so far no luck. And be warned that you just might want to have some tissue hand. Always better to be on the safe side since there just might be a few moments that make you want to reach for the tissue. It is good to have it within reach.

Last night I ended up finishing the last hundred pages but hey it didn't take as long as I thought because I was finished by midnight which means I read about an hour longer than I usually do but I just couldn't put it down since I wanted to finish. So it wasn't such a bad idea to grab a few books by the same author. If I like one book the odds are in favor of me liking other books although there are exceptions since I'm not crazy about that Jennifer Scales series by MaryJanice Davidson because I couldn't even finish reading the second book.

Mary Grace Winters is living a nightmare that all too many wives do. She has an abusive husband which is horrible of course but to make it even worse he's a cop. After a tumble down the stairs he threatens her but she eventually gets the courage to leave him. So she fakes her death along with her son and starts a new life. Now seven years have passed and unknown to her the car was found that she sent to the bottom of the water. He's out there looking for his wife and son. Uh oh that isn't good at all.

Finally Mary Grace who has a new life including a new name which happens to be Caroline she's reached that point where she's actually dating a guy. She's happy and her son Tom is getting the chance to have a normal life complete with friends. Things are going good for them but little do they know that Cal is looking for them but who will find them first? A FBI agent is sent to look into the case because not everyone is fooled by Cal Winters. If you enjoy Tami Hoag you're sure to enjoy this book. This was the first book I read and I do have at least one or possibly two that I look forward to reading. It is a pretty good sign when you find yourself reading past the time you'd normally stop just to finish it.
