Have You Seen Her?

Last night I ended up finishing this book even though I had about a hundred and fifty odd pages to go. I just found myself reading and before I knew it hello I'm almost done so I figured I might as well finish it which I did. And okay maybe have some tissue handy since you might get a little teary. This is sort of a series but not really if that makes any sense. It was just dumb luck that I read the other book first since this comes after it but not in the typical sense of a series. It is a series like Allison Brennan who tends to use a character here and there in other books.

Stephen Thatcher is back who was in the other book and it takes place after the abduction of his child so if you didn't read the other book you'll at least find out about that by reading this first. See what it's always good to read books in order even when it isn't a typical series? You just might find out things that happened in the other book and that my friend would be spoilers and people can really wig out over them. Anyhoo there's a killer on the loose who targets teenage girls. He's a single father to three boys so he has his hands full.

Since Jenna was Brad's teacher Stephen ends up meeting her when his son starts acting out. She lost her fiancee and Stephen lost his wife. He is baffled about why his son has started spiraling down but I did figure out why. Go me or maybe all those cops shows have finally come in handy. She ends up leaving quite an impression on Stephen and ends up in a bit of trouble herself when she has the nerve to fail a student because he turned in his test with his name on it. Oh shame on you Jenna after all you're supposed to treat football players like Gods. Oh wait not so much and she sticks to her guns which leads to her getting terrorized.

Sure there's killing going on but at the same time two people who weren't expecting it or even wanting it fall for each other. Things get a bit hairy when a cop shows up from Seattle who was on a case where four girls were murdered. He believes the killer is the one killing the girls that have been taken. But the question is who is doing the killing? Neil is sure about who the killer is and I had my ideas too. Well if you want to find out you'll just have to read it yourself.
