I woke up and I just knew it wasn't going to be a good day. Yes that unwanted visitor showed up but there have been days when I've felt worse not that I'm ready to be dancing on the rooftop. Okay if I tried that I'd just fall off and bust my head open or maybe not since I did survive a fall from the top of a slide onto the concrete. I ventured out into the horribleness that is winter and the worst part would be the sidewalks that weren't looking very sidewalky along with the streets. There were a few close calls since I did do some sliding. Well there was ice on the damn street so it wasn't my fault. Actually I'm surprised I had so many near misses. On the way back I tried the other side since I did the slip and slide thing about three times. I think it was just dumb luck I didn't land on my ass. I'm glad that dog wasn't around to witness that since he'd be all over me. Yes I saw that black puppy again that just wants to jump me. Maybe I smell good to dogs. Who knows what goes through a dog's mind.
I was just relieved I wasn't going to turn into a Popsicle which wouldn't be any fun. I did make it to Target at least because I needed some chocolate to soothe the savage beast. See I knew it was coming hence me getting the Funyans the other day. Sure they are strange chips if you can even consider them chips. I guess I do after all they stick them in or would that be on the chips aisle. Of course in Safeway some genius thought it would be a good idea to put diapers with cookies. Yes that makes perfect sense. And I discovered that the candy I mentioned yesterday was actual Riesen which has to be the strangest name for candy.
Imagine my surprise when I saw a $17 sale for various DVDs. They even had True Blood. Sure I knew it was unlikely that season two would be out but I did check just in case. So now I need to decide whether or not to take advantage of this sale. First I need to go hunting in the couch to see if I can cough up some cash. I would certainly rather pay $17 instead of the regular price of $45.99. Hell you could even get two of them and still be under the regular price of one. I do know that much even though I'm no mathematician.
The sale ends Saturday so there's not much time to decide. They did have the Sarah Connor Chronicles along with Smallville. Sadly no Bones to be found at least not the season I wanted. So maybe I will take advantage or maybe I won't. I guess it depends on whether or not I'm feeling humanish again along with the weather. I don't feel like breaking my ass just to get a DVD. It was bad enough I had to go through that horrible white stuff. At least when the stuff is soft there's less chance of falling which I didn't do. Hell I did surprise myself since those few times I thought I'd fall but I didn't. Hey Castiel are you watching out for me?
The important thing would be getting the chocolate. I didn't bother go to the library since I didn't want to walk over there and find myself feeling too crappy to walk back. That's happened before so I decided not to bother. So more books await me at the library. I need to see which ones they are so I guess I'll have to wait to read about Edweird. I just hope they are paperbacks instead of hardbacks which make for easier walk reading. Who knows maybe at some point I'll write a post about how I can pull off such a feat although it really isn't that big of a deal.
Although it is longer than a drabble I did post a Hollyoaks I guess story woudl be more accurate since I did check the word count which would be over 600. I'm a tard since I'm not up on the right lingo. It was only by chance I even found out what a drabble was and hello it's almost two I think years later and I'm still writing them. Odd because I think I heard that they are supposed to be harder so I wonder what that says about me. I don't stick to the 100 words though. I do have a potential Buffy one in my head and possibly a Days one but I'm feeling icky so I'm not sure if I'll do them today or not. First I need names. I think I have one for the Days one but not the Buffy one.

So sorry that it's been an icky day, but awesome news about TRUE BLOOD. I am so addicted to that show!
True Blood is pretty awesome. Sadly I already have it so I'm thinking I'll just get Smallville season eight since I don't have it yet.
Luckily I have Midol so it could be a lot worse. I do miss baths. I wish there was a tub in the basement but there must be some law against it.
